DAVID PEREIRA, PHD

CEO and Principle Consultant.

 

David is a skilled scientific and technical leader with nearly 30 years of experience in international API and drug product manufacturing.  He has extensive expertise with global regulatory agencies, and brings both strong technical and management skills to his current role.  Prior to joining Aydel, David served as the Head of Chemistry, Discovery & Development at Landos Biopharma and Aimmax Therapeutics Inc.  David has also served in leadership roles of increased responsibility focusing on quality systems, drug product development, chemistry, and contract research organization management at Ponce De Leon Health LLC, Cempra Pharmaceuticals, Inc, Cardinal Health, and Baxter Healthcare.

David received his BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech, a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University, and completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Illinois.
